Apprentice contestants Chris Whiteside and Linda Slade are auctioning off the Jockey underwear they modelled on Tuesday night's show on TradeMe.

The fashion show was part of a task that saw teams Number 8 and Athena instructed to devise a promotion for the launch of a new Jockey product from the company fronted by Dan Carter.

Whiteside says, "After having to endure nationwide embarrassment strutting around in my underwear, I thought I could put the experience to good use and raise money for charity."

"All monies raised from this auction for the actual Jockey underwear worn by myself and Linda Slade on the second episode of The Apprentice New Zealand will be donated to CanTeen, the New Zealand organisation supporting young people living with cancer. CanTeen does great work and is always my charity of choice."

The underwear has been dry-cleaned and can be signed if required.

The auction will close at 6pm on Tuesday 2nd March 2010.
