Nicolas Cage's financial woes just got a whole lot worse, with news that he has a bill for another $US6.7 million in allegedly unpaid back taxes.
TMZ reports the movie star owes the amount in unpaid taxes for 2008, on top of the $US6.6 million he owes for debts in 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2007.
The website says it received a statement from Cage saying he has paid at least $US70 million in taxes over his career.
"Unfortunately, due to a recent legal situation, another approximate $US14 million is owed to the IRS," the statement says.
"However, I am under new business management and am happy to say that I am current for 2009. All taxes will be paid including any to be determined state taxes."
