According to a statement from a co-star, Anna Paquin is pregnant with twins.
The 29-year-old actress is expecting for the first time with husband Stephen Moyer, whom she co-stars with in the vampire television series, True Blood.
Fellow True Blood co-star Sam Trammell, who is also a father of twins, has confirmed the pair will be having two babies.
He told Us Weekly magazine: "I'm so excited for them. We sent them a special gift. It's so interesting that True Blood has become like, the 'twins' show."
Trammell, who plays Sam Merlotte on the show, had his twin boys, Winston and Gus, with girlfriend Missy Yager last August.
Giving his advice, Trammell urged the pair just to "hold on
tight" as it is tougher having multiples but he admitted he didn't
know any other way of parenting.
He added: "It's harder, having twins, but it's all we know. So we're trying to impart some decent wisdom. I told them to hold on tight."
Paquin and Moyer announced the pregnancy in April after near the end of filming for season five.
Moyer, who has children Billy, 12 and Lilac, 10 from previous relationships, recently joked Anna being pregnant brings the "crazy" to his already extended family.
He said: "I love my kids so much. And I think the fact that Anna is pregnant just adds more crazy to the bundle of fun."
The Oscar winner and Moyer met on the set of True Blood and were
married in Malibu in 2010.
