Kristie Boyd started dancing soon after she started walking, and was competing in tap ballet and jazz at the age of two. Trained in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Hip Hop, Kristie started Ballroom and Latin dancing in 2007, at 17.

In her first year as a Ballroom dancer she won an Australian New Vogue title, and in 2008, won both a Latin and Ballroom title at the New Zealand Nationals. As a Candy Lane Dancer, Kristie has
performed on TV ONEs Stars In Their Eyes, the 2008 Qantas Film and Television Awards, the opening of the 2008 Netball World Cup, and various other shows.

Kristie has also been teaching all levels of tap ballet and jazz for six years, and has recently started teaching alongside Jonny Williams at their dance school, Limelight Dance Studios.
