Chris Hobbs
Film and television is in actor and voice artist Chris Hobbs'
blood - sisters Rebecca and Katrina are also actors,
while his mother and other sister Jessica are directors. He is
probably best known in New Zealand for his role as Dr Frank Malone
on
Shortland Street.
After
Shortland Street, Chris moved to
Australia, where he appeared in television dramas including Bad
Cop, Bad Cop; Home And Away;
McLeod's Daughters and Water Rats.
On this side of the Tasman, he has appeared in Outrageous Fortune,
and most recently, in the USA, in The Young And The Restless.
Currently residing in the USA, Chris' most recent project was
voicing two of the main characters, and a number of regular guest
characters on the animation series based on Graham Base's
Animalia.
Throughout his career, he has also appeared beside Cliff Curtis in
Spooked and performed with the Black Grace Dance Co in Black Grace
10.
