New Zealand's women's cricket squad remains unchanged as they prepare to face a touring England side later this month.
New Zealand selectors today announced a 14-player squad for the upcoming home series, which includes three one day internationals and five Twenty20 clashes, retaining the same players that struggled against Australia in the recent Rose Bowl Series.
"The White Ferns are continuing to build with the players selected expected to form the basis of the side for many years to come," said National Selection Manager Kim Littlejohn.
"We believe this is a talented squad who are making strides in the right direction.
"We are looking forward to seeing how they progress in this series as we head towards the Twenty20 World Cup later in the year."
White Ferns Coach Gary Stead explained the more experienced team members would have to shoulder a lot of responsibility as he looks to them to guide and assist the younger players in the squad.
"With a fairly young squad, the more experienced players will play a significant role as we face the challenge of playing the best side in women's cricket.
"Although we didn't get the results we were hoping for, there were a number of impressive individual performances, especially from new comers Katie Perkins and Maddy Green.
"It's pleasing that new players coming in are creating genuine competition for places."
First up for the visitors will be an Emerging Players selection before they begin their campaign against the White Ferns.
