Wheeler in line for CD debut

New Zealand age group representative Ben Wheeler is set to make his debut for Central Districts in their Plunket Shield cricket match against Auckland starting in Auckland on Saturday.

The left-arm medium fast bowler from Marlborough will make his first debut if selected, following his appearance for New Zealand in the recent under-19 World Cup.

Other bowling options, Seth Rance and Ewen Thompson, were not considered due to injuries.
