Capacity: 35,000.
Ends: Scoreboard End, City End.
Domestic team: Wellington.

Many people have said that Wellington's Westpac Stadium is the best stadium in New Zealand and upstages the larger Eden Park (Auckland) and Jade Stadium (Christchurch) because of the atmosphere and locaction.

The one large circular stand creates a wonderful atmosphere inside the stadium and has seen it dubbed the Cake Tin after its shape.

Situated in downtown Wellington, people flock to the ground by foot or by rail - the stadium was built on railway land.

It is a multi-purpose stadium but is used mainly for rugby.

One-day matches in the capital are now played at this venue but tests are still held down the road at the Basin Reserve.
