Black Caps skipper Daniel Vettori is delighted the six IPL contracted cricketers have all signed their NZC contracts but has sounded a warning.

Vettori, Brendon McCullum, Jacob Oram, Ross Taylor, Jesse Ryder and Kyle Mills will all be available to play against Australia next summer - despite the in bound tour clashing with the start of the IPL.

Vettori has told reporters he expects to lose around half his IPL income but said his priority is Test match cricket.

The Black Caps captain said it is great everyone came to the conclusion that playing for New Zealand is the priority.

But added that his national team-mates should not be made to make the decision because it is a lot of money they are sacrificing.

Vettori said the ICC need to make sure these decisions do not have to be made every year, while ensuring a window is made for the IPL.
