Pakistan's ill-advised appeals on day three of the first Test were prime examples of how not to use Test cricket's new video review system.
They used up their two unsuccessful challenges per innings on one lbw decision where the ball pitched well outside leg stump and another lbw call where it was clearly an inside edge.
Pakistan batsman Misbah-ul-Haq was a master of the comical understatement when asked how the team decided whether to make a video appeal.
He explained the captain, wicketkeeper and bowler were all involved.
"Unfortunately, that's not working well for us," he said, deadpan.
Australia were struggling early in their second innings when the two poor appeals were made and Misbah admitted they could have handled the situation better.
He conceded the first lbw appeal was for a delivery "way outside" leg stump.
"We were a bit excited, the bowlers were really excited at that time," Misbah said.
"With the passage of time, we'll get used to it, this technology ... how to use this (system)."
Earlier on Monday, Misbah top-scored with 65 and steadied the Pakistan tail after they collapsed after lunch.
They reached 258, just passing the follow-on, and it was also an important innings for Misbah after a run of poor form.
He said captain Mohammad Yousuf had kept faith in him, boosting his confidence.
"That was really important for me, because I was under immense pressure before that, not scoring runs," he said.
"In New Zealand, I was getting starts and not scoring.
"That really helps me (for) the future and especially, I'd like to thank the skipper ... for backing me up for this.
"He's given me a lot of confidence and let's see - I want to (do) this on a consistent basis for Pakistan."
