All-rounder Shakib Al Hasan made another telling contribution with bat and ball to guide Bangladesh to a six-wicket win over Zimbabwe in the final one-day international on Friday to secure a 2-1 series victory.
Shakib, the first Bangladesh player to top one of the International Cricket Council's player rankings when he was listed as the leading all-rounder in the latest standings, took three for 15 as Zimbabwe were restricted to 119 for nine.
He then hit an unbeaten 33 to guide his side home with over four overs to spare.
Fog had delayed the start for more than two hours, reducing the match to 37 overs for each side.
Opener Tamim Iqbal top-scored with 34 but Zimbabwe were left to rue dropping Shakib before he had got off the mark, spilled by Sean Williams at deep mid-wicket.
Mashrafe Mortaza set the platform for the win with a devastating first spell that earned him three wickets in six overs, finishing with three for 26.
Williams provided the main resistance with 38 off 46 balls.
