Pakistan will be without pace bowler Mohammed Asif for the upcoming five match limited over cricket series against the Black Caps.

Team officials have decided it is unwise to send Asif on the tour to the United Arab Emirates next month, after he was deported from Dubai last year for possessing a small amount of opium.

The three one-dayers and two Twenty20 matches were moved to Abu Dhabi and Dubai due to security concerns in Pakistan.

The Black Caps leave New Zealand for Dubai on 27 October and the first ODI is on 3 November at Abu Dhabi.

The series closes with two Twenty20 Internationals on 12 and 13 November at Dubai, before both teams travel to New Zealand for the three-Test series.
