The Indian cricketers arrived in New Zealand on Friday ahead of their upcoming series against the Black Caps and ONE News' Stephen Stuart was there to greet them.

After a long flight the players were clearly tired but stopped to sign autographs for a small group of die-hard Indian fans.

Some refused to speak on camera but ONE News was able to get a word in with Harbhajan Singh, Sachin Tendulkar, Yuvraj Singh and coach Gary Kirsten.

Singh even shared in some humour - last time he came to New Zealand he was fined for bringing organic material into the country on the studs of his cricket shoes.

On TV ONE's Border Patrol programme, Singh professed he never wanted to come back to Kiwi shores.

But on Friday he was able to reminisce on the incident in good fun.
