Black Caps wrap up Sri Lankan tail

Sri Lanka have been dismissed for 452 in the first innings shortly before tea on the second day of the first cricket Test against New Zealand at Galle International Stadium on Friday.

Resuming on 293 for three overnight, Sri Lanka lost their last seven wickets for 159. Thilan Samaraweera, unbeaten on 82 at the start of the day's play top scored with 159.

Mahela  Jayawardene, Sri Lanka's other centurion was the first wicket to fall today for 114.

Chris Martin had the leading figures of four for 77 while skipper Daniel Vettori, wicketless yesterday, ended with four for 78 from 37.4 overs.
