Two early wickets have given the Black Caps a chance to redeem their poor batting performance on the third day of the second Test.

New Zealand have a pitiful lead of 205 after the Windies wreaked havoc to the New Zealand batting line up this morning.

Off spinner Narsingh Deonarine destroyed New Zealand's batsmen 4-37 and was aided by Sunil Narine who also restricted New Zealand, 3-19, at Sabina Park, Jamica.

Best removed night-watchman Neil Wagner (6) and Captain Ross Taylor (0) in the space of three deliveries and the opening 45 minutes of today's match.

Martin Guptil top scored for New Zealand yesterday with 41 runs and Dean Brownlie followed closely today scoring 35.

West Indies are now 97/3 with Marlon Samuels in great form on 47 and Shivnarine Chanderpaul is on 3.
