The Black Caps top order, apart from Ross Taylor, will have a nervous wait for the selection of the New Zealand team for the final and deciding Test against Pakistan in Napier.

The tourists have tied the series at one-all with a 141 run victory in the second Test in Wellington on Sunday afternoon.

Ross Taylor's made 97 in the second innings total of 263 while the rest of the top six have continued their woeful series.

Captain Daniel Vettori says time's up for a number of their batsmen.

Vettori says some guys are probably going to hear some tough news.

He says they will have a selection meeting on Sunday night and it's obvious where they need to make changes with the first innings collapse costing them the Test.

Pakistan captain Mohammad Yousuf says catching is their concern with six straight forward chances dropped in the second innings.

Yousuf says they would have won the first Test too if they didn't drop catches.

The final test starts in Napier on Friday.
