Daniel Flynn
DOB: 16/04/1985
Playing Role: Batsman
Batting Style: Left-hand bat
Bowling Style: Slow left-arm orthodox
An old-school batsman first and foremost, Flynn's fearless and
determined manner at the crease has already won him many admirers
both at home and across the Tasman, where he defied Australia's
fast bowlers during the Black Caps' heavy series defeat in 2009. A
compact and technically-correct batsman, Flynn is equally
comfortable against spin or pace and clearly has the temperament to
exceed in the top order, always appearing unhurried and happy to
wait for the bad balls to put away.
