Katherine Edmond - reporter & director
Katherine Edmond started her journalism career in radio and television news and over the past 27 years she has written for a wide variety of newspapers and magazines in sectors ranging from the arts to science and technology.
She has also managed promotion and publicity for national events, conferences and awards.
Katherine lived on a sheep and beef farm in Hawke's Bay for 18 years. Although she's recently moved back to her childhood home of Wellington, she thoroughly enjoys maintaining her rural links through directing and reporting on Country Calendar. "It's great to be involved with a show that's such a favourite with those who work on it and watch it," she says.
