Storylines: Rosie got her name after she was born on Christmas Eve in a taxi on Rosamund Street.
As a teen Rosie was enrolled by her mother Sally at Oakhill, a private school. Sally, wanting better for her children, also encouraged Rosie to be a singer, although this was short-lived.
Rosie went through a Goth stage and began dating neighbourhood boy Craig Harris. Craig had a troubled past, stemming from his sister Katy's involvement with Martin Platt. When Sally discovered that they were sleeping together she called the police.
Distraught at her daughter's behaviour Sally took off with Rosie, driving erratically and losing control of the car, nearly killing them both.
When the Websters went on holiday to Paris Craig came with them and he and Rosie planned to run away together. However Rosie decided not to, leaving Craig at the last minute.
Rosie left school and took a job as Carla Connor's secretary at Underworld, the same job that Sally had applied for. However she opted to return to school when she began an affair with teacher John Stape, Fiz Brown's Boyfriend and Sally's crush. The affair was uncovered on Christmas day when John mixed up Fiz and Rosie's presents.
Rosie struggled to settle back into school and returned to work at Underworld.
