Love:  Married Derek Wilton's ex-wife Angela. Proposed to Rita, was turned down, also proposed to Doreen Fenwick

Storylines: Befriended Mavis and Derek Wilton after he stopped to help Derek when his car had broken down.

Norris took Derek's desired job as a senior sales manager and married Derek's ex-wife Angela. The marriage was short-lived. Years later, on hearing of Angela's death, Norris organised a meeting of Angela's exes.

Norris took a job working with Rita at the Kabin, a position he always felt was beneath his capabilities, and the two often bicker. However in spite of his considerable experience and numerous applications Norris has yet to make good his threat to find another, more suitable job.

Norris proposed to Rita, but was swiftly rejected. He also proposed to Rita's friend Doreen, only to discover that he was not the only one.
