Michelle Keegan plays Tina McIntyre
Michelle Keegan (born 3 June 1987) plays Tina McIntyre on
Coronation Street.
Michelle had ambitions to become an actress from an early age and
took up her interest by taking drama at school.
Upon leaving school she attended college and then worked as a
check-in agent at Manchester Airport and then at Selfridges. While
at Selfridges she enrolled as a student at the Manchester School of
Acting.
Michelle's first audition was for a small part in Hollyoaks,
but she didn't get it. In late 2007, in only her second-ever
audition, she was offered the chance to play the part of Tina in
Coronation Street.
Michelle has won numerous awards for playing the part of Tina.
In 2008 she won 'Best Newcomer' at the British Soap Awards and at
the TV Choice Awards.
In 2009 she won 'Sexiest Female' at the British Soap Awards and at
the Inside Soap Awards.
In 2010 she was nominated for 'Best Actress' and again won 'Sexiest
Female' at the British Soap Awards.
On 14 June 2009 Michelle made her radio debut, hosting the Radio 1
Chart Show with Reggie Yates.

arguing with receptionist Gail Platt over her appointment time.
