Storylines: Amber first appeared as one the daughter of one of Dev's employees. Dev's new wife Sunita soon discovered that Amber was in fact Dev's daughter. Sunita left Dev after she discovered that Amber was one of many illegitimate daughters Dev had fathered, that he had nothing to do with.
Amber moved in with Dev after her mother moved to Finland. Although Amber was initially not a welcome feature of Dev's life, the pair have become closer. Amber works part time in Dev's shop, and when she began working at Valandro's restaurant and pursuing Paul Clayton, Dev was protective of her.
Amber is strong willed and is known to enjoy gossiping about people. She as a sarcastic wit and enjoys winding her dad up. She is convinced that he does his best to embarass her and stop her having any fun - which is largely true.
After being used by (long time crush) David Platt to make his girlfriend Tina jealous, Amber began to take an interest in Darryl Morton.
