Kylie Minogue will kick off her Showgirl tour in Sydney on Saturday, and had another surprise for fans on Wednesday night, as she continues her remarkable recovery from breast cancer.
The Australian pop star and breast cancer survivor returned triumphantly to her homeland to launch her own perfume, appropriately named, Darling.
"If we want to talk about Darling in Australia it becomes darl which wasn't my intention," said Kylie.
But perfume is not the only thing on the agenda for Australia's little darling.
Her arrival in Sydney signals the start of her comeback tour. She was supposed to tour Australia in May 2005, but the tour was put on hold when she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
"I just came from rehearsals today, I mean just to be here, to be able to enjoy the launch of this perfume, to be able to get my show back on the road, that's enough to keep me going," said Kylie.
Kylie will play 20 concerts around Australia over the next month, saying she will be toning things down a bit to keep her energy up for the tour.
Not that that will worry fans of the showgirl, who are just happy to have her back.
"It's another fairy tale come true for me, so thanks very much," says Kylie.
