What a Camera Operator does -

Shooting anything from multi-camera studio productions, to sport in subzero temperatures outdoors. When shooting on Beta tape, they are also responsible for lighting and sometimes even sound so understanding and appreciating the other crafts involved in making television is a must.

What qualifications do I need to become a Camera Operator? -

All our Camera Operators have had some from of formal training; most have completed practical courses that various institutes offer. To become a Camera Operator you must have a working knowledge of studio etiquette and a working knowledge of a wide range of both studio and field equipment.
