TVNZ Broadcast Services Design team is multifunctional. It operates as a service not only for TVNZ, but also working for a variety of third parties by offering a range of design and construction services. These include: set design and construction for studio productions and outside broadcasts, design concepts for events and exhibitions, and advice on office interior design.

We facilitate a smooth and seamless process where we take into account a production's content and audience, which will determine the set's look and feel. At all stages of the set design process we work closely with the producers of each show as well as camera, sound and lighting specialists, utilising their craft & technical expertise.

Our in-house designers and set builders are some of the best in the business and have worked on a range of projects from the small to the large. We use a number of experienced contractors to supplement and complement our services when required.

Our designers operate the latest in Archi-cad technology, meaning that at each stage of the design process we can present complex visuals, 3D models and floor plans from a PC or laptop, using Artlantis, which creates high quality rendered images.
