Studio 3

This is a state-of-the-art digital production facility. With 180m2 of studio space and up to 5 cameras, live shows are just waiting to happen. This facility is well suited to music shows, game shows and has the capacity for a studio audience.

Studio 1

Designed for the smaller production, this analogue suite offers 58.5m2 of studio space with a 3 camera set-up and control room. It is ideal for small productions and photo shoots. With access to all the TVNZ satellite services and infrastructure, this facility is well suited to sports shows and other productions requiring a central hub. The studio is also suitable for recording links with a field crew.

Studio 4

Studio 4, the News studio and houses One News, Close Up, Breakfast, ASB Business and links for various Current affairs shows. It is not available for hire as it is the busiest studio in New Zealand, with activity from 6am until 11.30pm weekdays and 2pm to 7pm weekends.
Dedicated to TVNZ's News programmes. This is a fully digital, state-of-the art production facility. The control room is equipped with a 64 I/P Sony MVS 8000 vision switcher with 4 M/E & 4 DVE as well as a 4 channel still-store and associated graphics, a 48 channel Calrec sound desk and robotically controlled cameras.
