All Black centre Casey Laulala returns from injury to join the Canterbury side for Friday night's national provincial rugby championship match against Waikato in Hamilton .

The squad of 22 includes 10 former or current All Blacks -- but not captain Richie McCaw and first-five Daniel Carter -- who will have had a three week break by next weekend's Tri Nations test against Australia in Auckland .

Corey Flynn will captain the side in Canterbury's third consecutive match away from Jade Stadium.
