July 20: KYLIE's CANCER BATTLE

Kylie Minogue's first interview since being diagnosed with breast cancer was shown on 20/20.

In the world-exclusive interview, conducted in the UK by Cat Deeley, Kylie discussed the pain and struggle of the past year, as well as her hopes for the future and her ambition to raise awareness for the disease, which affects approximately 12,000 women and men in Australia alone.

Kylie, 38, spoke to Deeley about her treatment and recovery, as well as plans for a new album and tour.

She expressed how emotional her return home will be and her plans for spending Christmas downunder.

Minogue revealed that she had cancer last May before having surgery in Australia two days later. She postponed an Australian tour and cancelled a headlining appearance at the Glastonbury Festival as a result.

The singer completed her chemotherapy in December last year but still receives regular treatment to stop the cancer returning.
