Barcelona striker Henrik Larsson will miss Wednesday's first leg
of the Champions League semifinal against AC Milan because of a
thigh injury, the Primera Liga club said on Sunday.
The Swedish international limped off the pitch just nine minutes
into a 1-0 victory over Villarreal at the Nou Camp on
Saturday.
Larsson's replacement Santi Ezquerro followed him down the tunnel
25 minutes later after suffering bruising to his right knee and is
doubtful for Wednesday's match at the San Siro.
League leaders Barca will also be without Argentine international
Lionel Messi, who is expected to be out of action for at least
another three weeks with a thigh muscle tear.
Brazilian forward Ronaldinho, who has been rested for the past two
league matches because of a minor thigh injury, has been given the
all-clear to play.
