The first round of the K1 Kings of Oceania tournament took place before a packed crowd at the Trusts Stadium, Auckland on July 30.
The fighters have been split into three pools, with four competitors in each pool.
They will have three fights in total, with two points for a win and an extra bonus point for a KO or TKO.

The winner of each pool, plus a wildcard, will progress to the
K1 Oceania Grand Prix to be held in Auckland in March 2006.
