K1 Oceania rnd 1 results

The first round of the K1 Kings of Oceania tournament took place before a packed crowd at the Trusts Stadium, Auckland on July 30.

The fighters have been split into three pools, with four competitors in each pool.

They will have three fights in total, with two points for a win and an extra bonus point for a KO or TKO.

Peter Graham vs Rony Sefo - Graham unanimous points decision

Ricardo Van Den Bos vs Jay Hepi - Hepi split points decision

Daniel Tai vs Chris Chrisopulides - Tai split points decision

Sydney Asiata vs Paul Slowinski - Slowinski first round TKO

Paula Mataele vs Hiriwa Te Rangi - Mataele second round TKO

Jason Suttie vs Matt Samoa - Suttie first round TKO

The winner of each pool, plus a wildcard, will progress to the K1 Oceania Grand Prix to be held in Auckland in March 2006.
