Mascalezoen Latino became the crowd favourites at the last regatta in Auckland.
It was their first campaign and they enjoyed little success but seemed to have a lot of fun regardless.
After gaining some much-needed experience they head to Valencia ready to make an impact.
The Italian team will use the boats that Team Dennis Conner ran in Auckland and have added some important experience to their afterguard, including Kiwi Hamish Pepper.
