Team Alinghi are the holders of the America's Cup after sweeping Team New Zealand 5-0 in early 2003 to take yachting's greatest prize back to Europe for the first time 152 years.
Bankrolled by Swiss billionaire Ernesto Bertarelli, Alinghi put together a team of the world's finest sailors including former Team NZ stars Russell Coutts and Brad Butterworth.
They will defend the Auld Mug in 2007 without Coutts but Butterworth and fellow Kiwi Murray Jones will join helmsmen Jochen Schuemann, Peter Holmberg and Ed Baird in the afterguard.
