Sarah Michelle Gellar has given birth to a girl with husband Freddie Prinze Jr.
The 32-year-old actress and her husband welcomed daughter Charlotte Grace Prinze into the world on Sunday.
Representative confirmed: "Sarah and Freddie were delighted to become parents to Charlotte. The family is over the moon."
Gellar - who recently changed her surname to Prinze - announced she was expecting the couple's first child in April.
Gellar and Prinze met while filming 1997 movie I Know What You Did Last Summer but didn't start dating until 2000.
They got engaged in April 2001 and tied the knot on September 1 2002 in Mexico.
Last year, Gellar admitted she was looking forward to becoming a mother and was certain Prinze would be an excellent father.
She said: "When we do have children, my husband and I will have such a strong foundation because we've given our relationship time to grow."
