The Unite union in Auckland says it has reached agreement with the Oceania Customer Interaction Service over the terms of a collective agreement for staff.
National director Mike Treen says the settlement also involves withdrawal of a lockout notice, payment for members who lost shifts on Friday and Saturday, withdrawal of legal action against the union and a pay rise.
Treen says North Shore call centre OCIS had locked out 59 minimum wage workers and was taking the union to court.
Union members have been taking action for three weeks to put pressure on the multinational corporation to raise wages to what they call a living wage of $15 an hour.
OCIS does market research for New Zealand Post, Wellington City Council, and the Ministry of Tourism.
