There is more good news at the fuel pump for some with the price of diesel falling six cents a litre.

The three major fuel stations have shaved-off six cents , taking it to $1.66 a litre.

Petrol prices at BP, Shell and Caltex remain unchanged.

Last week saw price drops across the board.

This recent decrease is the sixth fuel price drop in just over a month.

Road Transport Forum chief executive Tony Friedlander says the sector's been hurting.

Friedlander says they are investigating the recent price movements to see if they match-up with the oil market.
