The missing Indian pilgrims are getting NO support from the Indian Association.

Thirty-six remain on the run from Immigration authorities, saying they've been caught up in an immigration scam in New Delhi.

Three men have so far come forward, claming they were promised residency in New Zealand.

However, Indian Association General Secretary Veer Khar isn't buying their story. He says they're trying to stay illegally in the country, and immigration should be doing all it can to catch them.

Mr Khar says the missing men are damaging the reputation of all Indians in New Zealand.
