Wellingtonian is world OK champion

Wellington's Karl Purdie has become New Zealand's latest world champion sailor.

He's won the OK Dinghy world championship in Germany, fighting off 91 sailors from seven countries to win the title.

Purdie finished 16th on the final day, which has been enough to secure the gold medal by four points.
