Ronaldinho wants Milan move
Barcelona forward Ronaldinho is still hopeful of moving to AC Milan even though the Serie A club's interest seemed to have waned, the player's agent and brother Roberto de Assis said.
"The chances that Ronaldinho will play for Milan next year are the same as they were a few months ago," de Assis told Sportal.it. "We know that Ronaldinho likes Milan and Milan like Ronaldinho and we'll keep working to take the world's best player to the world's greatest club."
Milan said in April that they had agreed personal terms with de Assis for Ronaldinho but the transfer broke down over Barcelona's asking price. Last week Chief Executive Adriano Galliani said Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor was the only striker Milan are chasing in the close season.
No hurry for Mourinho
New Inter Milan coach Jose Mourinho said the Serie A champions will not hurry into the transfer market.
"It will be an important week for the market but we should not be rushed," Mourinho told reporters.
Inter are close to signing AS Roma's Brazilian winger Mancini, according to Italian media reports.
Club president Massimo Moratti has said that Chelsea's England midfielder Frank Lampard and Barcelona playmaker Deco are also targets.
Benitez blocks Crouch bid
Liverpool has rejected a 9m pound bid from Portsmouth for the transfer of Peter Crouch.
The 27-year-old played under Pompey boss Harry Reddknapp at Southampton before moving to Merseyside in 2005 and is said to been interested a move to the side.
Although Liverpool want to sell the striker who has struggled for game time since the club secured Fernando Torres last season, it is reported Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez immediately rejected the bid reportedly saying he will not consider offers less than 10m for the lanky playmaker - it is unlikely Portsmouth will go any higher.
