Spurs take sting out of Hornets

Reigning NBA champions the San Antonio Spurs have beaten the New Orleans Hornets to tie their best-of-seven Western Conference series.

The San Antonio Spurs also rebounded from a 0-2 start, defeating the New Orleans Hornets 100-80 to tie their Western semi-final series at 2-2.

Spurs stars Tim Duncan scored 22 points, adding 15 rebounds and an on form Tony Parker who 21 points along with eight assists.

 Hornets Chris Paul scored 23 points and five assists but recieved little support from his team mates.

The win sees the two sides tied 2-2 as they go into game five in New Orleans on Wednesday, with Game 6 back in San Antonio two nights later.
