A whanau support worker has told the murder trial of Chris Kahui that the mother of the dead boys handled one of the twins violently while he was a newborn.
Manaaki Poto has given evidence at the High Court trial of Chris
Kahui for the twins' murders in south Auckland in June 2006.
Poto said she saw Macsyna King abusing the twins' father Chris
Kahui and then dumping one of the twins in his cot.
"When she got to the cot she just flung the baby down and when she
changed the baby she lifted the baby up and shoved it underneath,"
Poto said.
Poto also admitted she never fully reported her concerns because she believed she could teach King and Kahui parenting skills.
