The house where Wainuiomata woman Janet Moses died has been demolished.
Nine family members have been charged with the manslaughter of the 22-year-old after she died two months ago during a curse lifting ceremony known as makatu lifting.
A Wainuiomata resident says he drove past the Wellington Road house on Thursday afternoon and it was just a pile of rubble with a few cars in the driveway and a number of people standing around.
He says there was no evidence of cranes or other demolition equipment.
Detective Senior Sergeant Ross Levy says the demolition has had nothing to do with police.
