The pulling power of Justin Timberlake has seen his two Auckland shows sell out within minutes.

Timberlake was initially playing one shown at Auckland's Vector Arena in October but when tickets went on sale at 9am on Friday they sold out in just three minutes

Tickets for a second show were then released and sold out almost as quickly.

Promoter Brent Eccles says 5,000 pre-sale tickets were snapped up on Tuesday by fan-club members and frontier subscribers in just seven minutes.

Timberlake, whose album FutureSex/LoveSounds remains in the NZ top 40 after 49 weeks on the chart,  will play Vector Arena on Tuesday October 23 and Wednesday October 24.
