One of the world's biggest pop stars is coming to New Zealand.

Justin Timberlake will play at Auckland's Vector Arena on October 23.

The superstar singer, whose former girlfriends include Cameron Diaz and Britney Spears, is the latest in a long list of global pop stars to grace New Zealand's shores this year. Gwen Stefani and Pink have already played at Vector Arena this year.

Christina Aguilera, who used to be in the Mickey Mouse Club with Timberlake, pulled out of her two concerts last week due to illness. Timberlake's fans will no doubt be crossing their fingers that the Sexyback singer doesn't do the same.

Timberlake's current single Love Stoned is at number 24 in the NZ top 40 singles charts and his album Futuresex/Lovesounds remains in the top 40 after nearly a year on the chart.

Tickets go on sale on August 24.
