The Broncos have been dealt another major injury blow after Brisbane fullback Karmichael Hunt broke down at training on Friday.

Still reeling from skipper Darren Lockyer's season-ending knee injury, the Broncos face the prospect of losing Hunt for Monday's NRL clash against the Eels after the test No.1 damaged his hamstring late in their training session.

He was in distress and was immediately helped off the training paddock by Broncos physio Rod Godbolt and headed straight into the dressing sheds for treatment.

The likely loss of Hunt would place even more pressure on halfback Michael Ennis to perform against Parramatta.

Youngster Denan Kemp is likely to slot into fullback if Hunt is ruled out.
