Dickson quits Oracle
May 25, 2007

New Zealander Chris Dickson has resigned as CEO of America's Cup yachting syndicate Oracle.

It follows the team's elimination last week at the semi final stage of the Louis Vuitton challenger series off Valencia.

Commentator Peter Montgomery says the key issue now is will Oracle stay around and contest the next America's Cup, where ever it may be?

He wonders whether whether they will keep the same sponsors and what will management structure will be.

Montgomery says Oracle boss Larry Ellison has some big decisions to make and only time will tell if he decides to bring several new people in.
