Collectaholics returns and goes exploring the weird and wonderful world of some Britain's passionate, avid and sometimes down-right obsessive collectors.
In each episode presenters Mark Hill (Antiques Roadshow) and Jasmine Harman get to peek behind the front doors of ordinary houses to see the most extraordinary collections, from animal specimens to the one of world's largest collections of royal memorabilia, and from stylish mid-century design classics to a collection of over 700 cuckoo clocks, and find out exactly what makes the collectors so fanatical.
Often these collections are in overflowing attics and can even take over whole houses, with the collector losing track of what they own and what they have spent. Mark and Jasmine get to know what drives them to keep buying, what inspired them to start and how it affects their lives.
With the help of experts we learn the significance and history behind some of these collections, and often a valuer will attempt to put a price on these sometimes sprawling hoards. Have they amassed a gold mine or have their precious possessions lost their value?
There will be some huge surprises along the way.
