Valerie Adams finally gets her gold medal in a special ceremony live from The Cloud in Auckland.

Close Up has all the presentation, the excitement and the ceremony - live.

The medal will be presented by the Governor General, Sir Jerry Mateparae.

And Close Up will hear from the golden girl herself after the medal is placed around her neck.

Fireworks simultaneously in Auckland and Wellington will finish off the occasion.
