You don't have to be a teenage girl to know that vampires are very big right now.

The immensely successful Twilight series has done an awful lot for the renaissance of the gothic blood suckers.

The first of the four novels by Mormon writer, Stephanie Meyer was turned into a film.
The sequel new moon is about to be released, 13-year-old Rosalili Ekevati has had more time than most to become acquainted with the books.

She has spent the last nine months in hospital battling cancer, reading and re-reading the series.

So there was no-one more deserving to meet one of the stars of the new movie when he turned up in New Zealand this weekend.

Close Up's Sofia Wenborn was with Rosalili when she met Bronson Pelletier of the much anticipated Twilight wolfpack.
