There's a financial crisis going on and every day there's another story of investments plummeting, companies collapsing and jobs disappearing. Not good news at any time of year, let alone December.

So what's the credit crunch done to your Christmas cheer? Have you cut up the credit cards and put $10 limits on all presents? Or are you throwing caution to wind and celebrating regardless?

A panel of experts share their survival tips for getting through the festive season with both your finances and wits about you.
