Benefit of the doubt

Britain's former Prime Minister Tony Blair sits down with Mark Sainsbury during his whistlestop trip to Auckland today.

Blair discusses today's events that saw protesters turn up outside his speaking engagement, and talks about the decisions he made while Prime Minister.

He also reveals the pressure he has to live under despite not still being in the hotseat.

"Decisions are tough - but leadership's a privilege," he told Sainsbury.

Babies or Barbies?

The child beauty pageant is a very American activity that could be heading to our shores.

Texas-based Universal Royalty Beauty Pageants want to hold contests for young Kiwi girls in several cities, but are yet to name the venues or dates.

As Close Up reports, not everyone is throwing out the welcome mat.
